I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game to see if he can do this again. I think the real test for these youngsters is consistency.

Pretty impressive debut......I thought numberswise when I looked at the trade for you guys, that you might be getting another Giordano. I'm not 100% sure the styles are similar....but he had a great game yesterday.

He looks small too at 5'10 or 5'11 but he weighs in at 215. I wouldnt want to get hit by that frame. These wins suck & I have no idea how we keep doing it. Especially with teams like Detroit & Minny who are fighting for their playoff lives. Now to clobber Nashville, lose to St Louis & then we beat a Chicago team playing out a nothing game. We then pick 10th overall

Great job as always, Colin. I few guys that I am hoping the Flames get a look at with the 2nd pick, and that I hope you do a write up on ( ) are Gauthier, Pulock, Zykov and if by some miracle is still available, Ristolainen.

The biggest thing I've noticed is that our young guys are all extremely enthusiastic with positive attitudes, even relative to other young-NHLers.

I don't think that's a coincidence, I think that's the Wisebrod model and it's just what the franchise needs.

I feel like he meant that we keep climbing in the standings so eventually our 1st, 1st rounder is going to be the players that you are naming as our 2nd and 3rd 1st rounders.

And I keep thinking back to the night Iginla was traded, I remember Wisebrod getting a call, then smiling and talking to Feaster, then they took off looking in good spirits. I've often wondered if it was because Pit agreed to throw in Hanowski and/or the other College guy we got along with the first. In Wisebrod we trust?

I'm so torn right now... I'm loving the attitude and compete level of the kids. It makes me smile to see them having immediate success and makes me excited for the future... But at the same time, I want to add a difference maker to this group.

Someone always slips from the top. 2010 it was Cam Fowler sliding all the way to #12. 2011 it was Sean Couturier going to #8. Last year Forsberg and Grigo slipped to #11 and #12 respectively. I wouldn't be surprised if this year Barkov fell to us. And I would be so very excited
